Exploring the connection between movement, mental health, and nature

Join us at the Millennium Country Park, where our rangers will guide you through the park's natural beauty in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. During the walk, our knowledgeable rangers will point out an array of wildlife and plants that can be seen in the park. We will also be joined by staff/volunteers from Mind BLMK and The Samaritans who will emphasise the importance of movement and being outdoors and the positive impacts on mental health.

Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in nature all while caring for your mental wellbeing.

Please meet at the Forest Shelter in the Wetlands Meadow 15 minutes before the walk begins.

Price: FREE – please register below

Parking charges apply. No dogs allowed on this walk. Please dress for the weather, make sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring plenty of water.

Accessibility: Many of the Millennium Country Park paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, and we have accessible toilets on site. For this event we may be venturing onto the callow mounds which has varied footpaths that are not all highly accessible – if you have any additional mobility needs, please contact us prior to the walk and we will aim to offer you an alternative route.
