Things to do at the Forest Centre

There’s plenty to enjoy at the Forest Centre, whatever your reason for visiting.

Start with a walk through the Millennium Country Park, and enjoy miles of surfaced trails through woodlands, meadows and the Wetlands Nature Reserve. It’s perfect for walking, cycling or simply taking in the views and wildlife.

Right next to the Forest Centre, you’ll find our Forest Centre Play Area and picnic space - ideal for families looking to relax and refuel. Inside, our dog-friendly café serves a range of hot and cold food, drinks, and homemade treats, with plenty of seating overlooking the Park.

For a quieter space, head upstairs to our Balcony - an adults-only, dog-free area designed for relaxing, working or catching up with friends. In warmer months, our outdoor Terrace is also open, offering scenic views across the Park.

You can also browse our gift shop, stocked with a selection of nature-inspired gifts, books and toys.

Looking for a space to meet, celebrate or host an event? The Forest Centre also offers a range of room hire options, from small meetings to larger gatherings.

Throughout the year, we host a wide range of events, from seasonal trails and children’s crafts to guided walks, live entertainment and tribute nights - so there’s always something new to experience.
